Karragarra Island
The smallest of the four and easily walkable, with no shops, which is part of its charm, so bring water and snacks. The beach has a jetty for fishing, an enclosed swimming area, free electric barbecues and covered seating, and locals often gather there for sunset. There’s also a community garden worth a wander.
Swim only inside the netted enclosures. Sharks and other wildlife are active in these waters.
